Infertility:
is inability of a couple to reach pregnancy after a year of regular unprotected sexual intercourse. In about 40% of
infertility cases are men and in further 40% of cases are women responsible. The cause of infertility of remaining 20% of
couples is combination of factors of both partners or idiopathic sterility - sterility from unknown reasons.
Infertility causes:
Male (andrological) factor:
The ratio of men with impaired sperm parameters has recently increased.
Low sperm count (oligozoospermia) < 20 million sperm/ml
insufficient sperm motility (asthenospermia) - sperm cells are incapable to reach and fertilize the oocyte
abnormal form (morphology) - sperm cells cannot penetrate the oocyte cover
sperm absence in ejaculate (azoospermia) - the cause is missing sperm production in testicles or obstruction in genital
tract
intercourse disorder - possible ejaculation disorder or impotence
genetic failure - disorder in chromosome outfit, cystic fibrosis
infertility in men after inflammations, surgery, injuries, oncological therapy
Female factor:
ovarian factor (the cause lies in the ovary) - hormonal disorders. In consequence of this factor the follicles in the ovaries
cannot mature and ova cannot be released - the ovulation is impossible
tubal factor - this type of sterility is caused by tubal occlusion (most frequently by women after gynaecological
inflammations or with endometriosis) or in consequence of the absence of fallopian tubes
endometriosis - the presence of endometrial focuses out of its usual localization which leads to tissue damage, e.g. it
can induce tubal occlusion, adhesions, alter immunological mechanisms which negatively influence the process of
fertilization and implantation
immunological factor - present immunological antibodies have a negative impact on sperm motility, an invasive effect on
cell fusion by fertilization and the development of early embryo can also be negatively affected.
genetic failure - disorder in chromosome outfit
In most of these cases assisted reproduction can help.
The main sphere of our work involves a complete examination and therapy of infertile couples. We put all techniques
and methods of assisted reproduction into practice available in the best European centres.
Only mutual confidence, honesty and possibility of informal contacts can create an appropriate environment with the aim

Zlin, the administrative center of the Zlin region, lies along
the river Dřevnice in a mild climatic area of southeastern
Moravia. It is also a crossroad for the ethnographic boundaries
of the Wallachian, Hana and Moravian Slovak regions. This
region of 590,000 inhabitants became famous for more
reasons than its advantageous location.
The city is famous as the birthplace of the founder of the
colossal Bata Shoe Empire, Thomas Bata, where his company
flourished in the first half of the 20th century. One facet of the
city’s character is its one of a kind functionalist architecture. In
2001 a new university the Thomas Bata University was
founded in Zlin. The city is the seat for several government
centers, as well as for cultural and social institutions. Zlin holds
many meaningful congresses, mainly in medical professions.
Clinic
The Clinic has a great success in egg donation and belongs to one of the
best in the Czech Republic. The success rate for egg donation is around
65% per try. The donors, by law, have to stay anonymous (no pictures or
personal information exchange), however you can have preferences in
their height, weight, eye and hair color, facial features, education etc. All of
the Clinic's donors are 18 to 35, most of them have children on their own
or donated before. They have been screened for STDs, they have to be
screened genetically for karyotype, cystic fibrosis, mutations of blood
factors, their hormonal levels are checked and they are interviewed by a
doctor if they are acceptable as egg donor.
The doctors who interviews the donors accept only intelligent and
attractive donors.
You can also send a picture of yourself so the doctor can find the best
match.
There is virtually no wait to find a suitable donor. Donor cycles are
booked 12 weeks in advance.
